Emily Alannah was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. The 18-year-olds inspiration of music stemmed from her Father’s love for music. Growing up with inspirations like Michael Jackson, U2, and Shania Twain, then discovering artists like James Arthur, Lewis Capaldi, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Billie Eilish as her palette broadened.
Often being compared to Ariana Grande, and Jorja Smith, these artists along with many others have been instrumental in guiding her towards her desire to make her own distinctive sound. Best described as a pop genre, with the influence of rock, folk, soul and r&b undertones.
Emily Alannah is currently studying a Bachelor of Music at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium. She wrote her first single ‘Fight For Me’ alongside Endpoint in 2019, later releasing a music video following the release of the single. Constantly writing and producing, Emily Alannah hopes to release new music in the future be made available on all music streaming platforms, as well as upcoming live performances.
